Live to LIVE

Once, a friend of mine asked me two questions 1)Are we Living (or) Are we Dying? 2) Are we Living to Die (or) Are we Dying to Live? Take your time and answer the questions................................................................. The correct answers are "We think we are Dying and we are Dying to Live." Yes, whatever you argue, those are the answers we all conclude to. Here, I am not gonna talk about how many years we live and stuff. Everybody knows what's the average lifetime of a human, and everybody's chasing the dream of living a long life. So, you all maintain diets and stuff to live longer and when you are old, at the brink of your life, you are gonna cry that you've done nothing except maintaining your schedule, to live a long life. You have to understand that you are Living , not Dying. You eat all the food and breathe a hell lot of oxygen, to mean something in your life. It's not that you don't have to eat healthy food. You can ea...

Spend Wisely

Image
Spending money is hell lot complicated than what I thought of it in my childhood. Every time I pull out some money from my pocket, I think whether to spend them or not, and I think even more after spending them. Planning to spend those bucks was very hard for me. The following two people helped me a lot on where to spend and where to save. Rohit Neelakantham Rohit Neelakantham      I met him at Idealabs. I knew him for about 4 days. We both were travelling in his car. As you all know, I just keep talking all the time. I asked him about his job and stuff. Then, I started asking about his car (Ford Ecosport #dreamcar). He was like, "I used to teach tuitions in my college days. I saved all that money and paid downpayment for this car which was around ₹.2 lakh." I was like, "Holy shit! You saved 2 lakhs from the fee you got from tuitions." He replied, "Yes. It probably took years, but I did save. I always had a dream of buying a car with my own money, an...

IDEALABS - Pushing Limits

Image
Pankaj Diwan       I first met Idealabs team at JNTUH, when I was attending a hackathon. It was a 2-day hackathon and as we were new to all the technology and stuff, we weren't able to design our prototype. This is where Idealabs team came in. They helped us in every obstacle we had while designing and implanted us with a lot more information than we can ever learn.       But, looking at them I was wondering, "How the hell are they working so efficiently even under such stress?" They were explaining things to every single team in that hackathon with full of energy. I asked the question to one of the members of Idealabs. He replied, "Wherever you go, whichever company you work in, you work just to work. Here at Idealabs, we love our work. At first, I wasn't like what I am today. I was just like you, not taking anything seriously. As I got into Idealabs, the environment here helped me realise my strengths and push my limits."   ...

IMPOSSIBLE is your new goal

Much like any other Engineering student, I used to enjoy my time with friends a lot. Till my 3rd year of Btech, I was kinda "Playing Safe." I would not take any risks in my day to day life. Probably I was good at Mathematics and I used to get a lot of praises from people for my problem-solving skills (in maths). One day, I and my friends thought of attending a Hackathon, where you can convert your Idea of solving a problem into a working prototype. Then, things took a turn in my life. Forget about winning the Hackathon, we weren't even able to build a working prototype. Since then, I've taken multiple challenges, some of which were impossible, and got to know that "Playing Safe" is never going to let you learn new things. In that process, I've come up with two possible ways to achieving the impossible. 1. Target the Highest Everybody tells us to pick up a task which is no-way achievable and start trying it. Yes, That's the point here. Pick the t...

My Three Biggest Inspirations

Image
Everybody look for inspirations to get on with life. We learn one or the other things from people we meet in our life. Some of those learnings change the way you live and lead you to a better path. Here are three of those people who changed my life. Karthi Subbaraman Karthi Subbaraman I met ma'am for the first time when I was attending a 6 week incubator program at JNTUH. I didn't even know what Design thinking was before. Ma'am took a two-day workshop on Design thinking. I got two keen inspirations from her. While she was saying about a topic, she asked us whether any of us were long distance runners. Some of them raised hands and I wasn't one of them. I never had any interest in running. But, that day, I thought, "Why shouldn't I start running?" Since then, I started running and kept pushing my limits day by day. After about 4 months, now I can run for about 5 km with ease. I know, for many people 5 is not a big number. But, for me, I used to ...

Those aren't Incidents. Those are Memories

Today, I wanna share my trip to Chennai. I, Prashanth and Prakash (My friends) went to Chennai to attend an Interview, which was on 11th Oct 2018. We boarded on the train at around 5pm on 10th oct, that too, we completed both our lab externals that day itself and we rushed to Secunderabad railway station. Obviously, we three were enthusiastic about going on a trip to Chennai. We were making a hell lot of jokes. All other travellers were freaking out. That was a great journey. As we've reached Chennai on 11th, we took a room, refreshed ourselves and as the day was Thursday, Prashanth needs to go to Sai Baba temple. We've searched for the temple on Maps and we got one nearby, which was around 2 km away. We've walked all the way, thinking that we'll have our breakfast somewhere near the temple. We've reached there, done with our darshan, and there were no tiffin centres nearby. MAAAANN! We kept searching for around an hour and we found one. We order a pl...

Begining my blog life

I've always been thinking about the ways to express my feelings to others so that they may know a better part of me, to mould themselves to a better form. I've never known that I'm good at expressing my thoughts through my writings until one of my friends had seen something interesting in my life and started writing a journal on me. It is then I realised that there is much more in my life, that I can share with everybody, so that reader can understand the way I think about people, and get a better view of me while understanding the world in the way I look at it. I personally thank every single person inspired me to write the following blogs and the ones who push me to my goals, creating a better path to my future.
