 A note to the young. To the Students When I was a student, I always used to think that once I get a job, I'll be free to do whatever I want. That thought always made me think that working is tension-free. People who work know how wrong the above couple of sentences are. It is like coming out of a training camp, into a war zone. Training camp's scenarios are all predictable. It was designed to be predictable. But, the war zone....... Oh Boy! There are hundreds of people who keep rising, and here you are, running behind the month-end for salary. Focus is chaos in the wild.  My classmates and I still talk about how good our colleges/school days were. And, that's fine for us. We had a hell lot of fun and tried to get enough knowledge to move further (Self-appreciation. We could've done better, but we all cared more about the Flash mob and the DJ guy. That guy didn't play the song I asked for. I'm gonna hit him someday.) There are students who are on either side of ...

Last week, I've put out the thoughts from a child's perspective. Now, this is from the other side of the spectrum i.e., the Parent's perspective. Invisible Pressure 2 Most/All of middle-class parents today have come from a lower-class background. They either used to work while they study, or used to work with no study at all. No-school seems fun to today's generation of kids, but the respect you get while you are a child is from your studies. They knew it, but there were families who couldn't afford to send their children to school due to multiple reasons. Even if you go to school, it would've been mostly students and books with minimal support. They've tried to push themselves for so many years to bring up the income so that everyone in the family can lead a better life than their younger self. They've taken jobs that are tough on mental and physical health just to make sure their children could lead a better life than what they've experienced. They...

Invisible Pressure Our generation of students seems to be having fun and enjoying life, but we too are under the constant pressure of planning our next step. This has been way too much to handle and is leading to frustration for the masses. If you are a girl and you get a job, you are put on a schedule. Plan for marriage, then kids, then their education, and back to the start of their marriage. If you are a boy and you get a job, that very moment you'll have to take up the whole responsibility of family and handle everything as fast as possible. These pressures are building up in our minds and bring out either Bad results or A lot of frustation.
