Our Talents

We all have talents. For some, it could be cooking, and for others, it could be coding. We all love to do one thing, and we excel at it beyond our comprehension. Now, do we use that talent for our livelihood is another question that I am not trying to ask. But we love to do that thing and also talk about it. For me, it's reading and writing. Have I read all the classics? No. Am I a fast reader? No. Do U write the best in my circle? No. But if I hear a conversation in my vicinity about reading or writing, I chime in without any second thought, not because I'm the best, but because I feel I belong in that space. That expression didn't come overnight. I struggled with an issue that I see everyone struggles with. "Confidence". Deep Conversations

 I in general am far from conversations. I like to be myself in my thoughts rather than to talk with others however close they are. But, there are multiple instances where there were such deep conversations that I spoke my heart out while enjoying the conversation to the utmost detail. This is about one of those instances. Three friends and I went to Gokarna to chill for three days. We haven't stayed at the crowded locations of Gokarna but found an off-beat stay that has an open restaurant, and the beach is about 100 meters. You can't see the beach from the restaurant as that patch of land is filled with trees, yet you feel the breeze through the shivering trees and smell the ocean. We middle-class people understand a vacation as covering as many locations as possible. Vacation ends up as another hustle of waking early, hurrying at every location as we might miss places in the itinerary, and sleeping late. Less sleep, less relaxation, more places, and pictures.
