WEEK-IN #15

Just a random story which made me smile.  We are growing Yesterday, I was driving in a slow moving traffic. Traffic was so slow that I could walk faster. Vehicles were honking everywhere. Among all these sounds, I could hear an Ambulance siren somewhere far away. I could see the road is all packed atleast for half a kilometre in front and a kilometre behind me. The obvious thought was that the Ambulance is going to take hours to cross all this, and no one even know the situation of the patient. What if every single vehicle moved aside as soon as they hear the siren. That of course wouldn’t happen in India, cause we would like to create our own rules. There wasn’t much I could do, so I was checking the Ambulance once every couple of minutes. It was 500 meters behind me. Then, the miracle.  In next 15 minutes, Ambulance had crossed me and in next 10 minutes, it was already out of sight. That was strange. No vehicle should be moving that fast as per what we know about India...

WEEK-IN #14

Investment on Emotional balance Investment is basically, you spend something to get the one you need in return. There are a million ways you can invest your money, but this blog is a bit different. This blog talks about the expenditures which are actually investments. The ones which you think didn’t bring anything back, but your sub-conscious mind did get something in return. That’s investing on your emotional balance.  This is a bit tricky cause not everyone accepts this as an investment. What we don’t understand in today’s fast paced world is that we lack emotional balance. I do talk a lot about emotions and control of emotions as your brain cannot do the needful when it doesn’t get enough relaxation. We are humans, and what makes us different from machines are emotions. Working on those emotions is a part of our life, and there is no need to get depressed that you lack the enthusiasm or the will to do your work compared to others. Emotional threshold is different for me compared...

WEEK-IN #13

Irreversible mistakes. Mistakes in Anger This is more of an Add-on to  WEEK-IN #5  with an example. I keep saying that Anger doesn't solve any issues, but even I do breakout once in a while. These thoughts are more of learning to suppress even those situations. One of my friends was doing a task that makes total sense from their end but doesn't make any sense from the situation's end. The Anger is triggered when the person was doing the same thing again and again even after explaining that the very decision isn't going to do any good to anyone. Now, it's common that if a person keeps repeating the same task and you could clearly see that it's not a great decision, and if the person doesn't listen to what you say, you force them to do what's right through Anger. Adding to that, you justify yourself that you've done the right thing cause it's for their own good. Correct? Nope. Every time you give out your anger, you put a dent into this universe w...

WEEK-IN #12

The part we all lack. Your Mistakes It is not that you lack doing mistakes. We do hundreds of mistakes every single day. We all lack the part of accepting the mistakes. The moment you realize that the situation didn't go as you've planned, your brain starts analyzing the decisions taken by everyone around you and picks the mistakes to the minute detail. The very point we miss is, whatever happens in our life is due to the actions we make, at least to some extent. The moment you change these actions, the outcome differs by a mile, cause you are the only one who could make such a huge impact on your life. This is complicated to understand just through words. Let's take an example. A couple of days ago, I got a call from a stranger stating that they need A- blood for one of their relative's surgery. I've told him that it had only been a month since I've recovered from COVID and asked him to get it confirmed that I can donate. The next day, he called me to inform m...

WEEK-IN #11

The known habits which we all have, but couldn't master. Overthinking/Underthinking A good old way of ruining a situation is by Overthinking. Underthinking has its downsides too. We sometimes call it Laziness. But, there are Pros and Cons to both, and choosing which one to implement in a situation drastically changes the output (Apart from you overthinking about your food habits never ends. You are Fat. Accept it. I accepted it and it's way easier than thinking about it every day. I do feel a bit ashamed of myself for not thinking at all. Only a little bit though). Let's try to sum up the Pros and Cons of these two habits. Overthinking  Let's start with Cons (cause it's simple). You overthink about a situation that doesn't need that much of your brainpower, you take up time to decide on your step, and a lot of those factors might not even make much of a difference. So, not to overthink all the time. You'll have to choose this option For quick solutions and F...
