WEEK-IN #11

The known habits which we all have, but couldn't master.

Overthinking/Underthinking

A good old way of ruining a situation is by Overthinking. Underthinking has its downsides too. We sometimes call it Laziness. But, there are Pros and Cons to both, and choosing which one to implement in a situation drastically changes the output (Apart from you overthinking about your food habits never ends. You are Fat. Accept it. I accepted it and it's way easier than thinking about it every day. I do feel a bit ashamed of myself for not thinking at all. Only a little bit though). Let's try to sum up the Pros and Cons of these two habits.

Overthinking

Let's start with Cons (cause it's simple). You overthink about a situation that doesn't need that much of your brainpower, you take up time to decide on your step, and a lot of those factors might not even make much of a difference. So, not to overthink all the time. You'll have to choose this option For quick solutions and For long-term solutions. Quick solutions by meaning say that less time is to be taken. So, if you need a quick solution and if you an overthinker, focus on the situation, bring in as many factors as possible in the given time, and produce the solution. Here, Overthinking mostly helps on the focus part, cause we overthinkers keep thinking only about the single situation till we solve it. So, you turn on your Overthinking capability for quick solutions and your focus Skyrockets. Coming to long-term solutions, you have ample amount of time to consider as many factors as you like. If it's a long-term solution, considering more factors will always be better. Anything in between, just THINK, not to pull it further.

Underthinking

Let's start with Cons as always. You would just like to pick your favorite alphabet from the options you have in a multiple-choice test cause you don't like to think at all. And, we all know the consequences. Pros, it feels nice and comfortable not to think at all, until one day you start Overthinking that there had been no progress in your thinking power at all. Ok! That's a Con. The real Pro is, the less you think, the less stress you put on yourself. So, how to balance? If a situation doesn't have much of an impact on your life or anyone's life, consider few factors to solve it (Something like, whether to eat Healthy or Fast-food. Pick Fast-food. You are fat anyway).

I am, by no means, an expert on how much to think in a situation. Even I struggle between the two. But, these ways have helped me on multiple occasions and I was satisfied with the solutions I bring in. Try them and let me know if they work in your life too, or if you would like to add to my points. (I am fat. Period!)
