WEEK-IN #6

I’ve been planning to write about this topic for about a year, but an inner confusion held it back. Here comes the understanding of all that confusion.  Addiction Such an irritating word to hear. As soon as I hear it, I’d just throw the person out of the window. But, there is a lot more to it than just doing the thing we love (Of course, Pubg) all day.  Addiction to something like playing video games, watching TV shows, talking on phone seems not so good. Addiction to something like reading books, listening to lectures (If you are one of those who listen to lectures addictively, take my money) seems fine. But, addiction to anything is not so great.  Well, there is always an argument of getting addicted to reading is good as that adds up to your resume eventually. Then, there will be one guy on the opposite side saying that you could earn a lot more through streaming video games. Bottom line is, you get addicted to something, you are going to loose the balance. You start l...

WEEK-IN #5

This whole week had been a roller-coster for me, and here comes the learning from it.  Anger It’s so simple to express compared to all other emotions, and so easy to grow too. But that eats you from inside sub-consciously. By the time you’ve realised it, you would’ve gone way deep into the tragedy.  Of course Anger too is an emotion like any other and suppressing it would not bring forth any good, cause suppressing your Anger is never a choice. That is gonna come  out one way or the other and the more time you keep cooking it inside, larger the devastation the moment it comes out. We all have to Understand it rather than suppressing. Understating is the only way to find the solution to the problem through which the Anger has arrived, and that too isn’t easy at all cause Patience is key. I’ve learnt my patience through reading. Not through the contract in books, but through the action of reading itself. Find your path to patience as soon as possible so that you don’t fall ...

WEEK-IN #4

Last week, I've put out the thoughts from a child's perspective. Now, this is from the other side of the spectrum i.e., the Parent's perspective. Invisible Pressure 2 Most/All of middle-class parents today have come from a lower-class background. They either used to work while they study, or used to work with no study at all. No-school seems fun to today's generation of kids, but the respect you get while you are a child is from your studies. They knew it, but there were families who couldn't afford to send their children to school due to multiple reasons. Even if you go to school, it would've been mostly students and books with minimal support. They've tried to push themselves for so many years to bring up the income so that everyone in the family can lead a better life than their younger self. They've taken jobs that are tough on mental and physical health just to make sure their children could lead a better life than what they've experienced. They...

WEEK-IN #3

Today's content is provided by one of my BTech friends, Prathibha. Have a look at today's blog from a girl's perspective. I thank Prathibha for supporting the project. Invisible Pressure Our generation of students seems to be having fun and enjoying life, but we too are under the constant pressure of planning our next step. This has been way too much to handle and is leading to frustration for the masses. If you are a girl and you get a job, you are put on a schedule. Plan for marriage, then kids, then their education, and back to the start of their marriage. If you are a boy and you get a job, that very moment you'll have to take up the whole responsibility of family and handle everything as fast as possible. These pressures are building up in our minds and bring out either Bad results or A lot of frustation. We do understand the reason for our parents creating this schedule of life, but we all need some time to adjust. We only need a couple of things. Responsibilities...

WEEK-IN #2

The Reader This is one of those weeks where I have no content to write but have to put out something interesting and unique. Bare with me. Reading books had always been my go-to whenever I feel depressed. Not everyone knows how amazing is to read a book rather than watching the story as a movie or a tv show. Below is the list of 9 books/series of books which have taken a forever place in my self of best books. (Not exactly in this order). 1. Recursion - by  Blake Crouch Thriller, Fantasy, Love, Sci-fi The genres you see above are the ones I always prefer. Getting all of those in a single book is a dream come true. Even if I say a single point from the book, that would be a spoiler. 2. Dark Matter - by  Blake Crouch Thriller, Fantasy, Love, Sci-fi Same genres, same author, amazing story. If you love these genres, have a look at these books. 3. The Institute - by  Stephen King Thriller, Fantasy, Sci-fi By the legendary Stephen King. This book takes you through a chill...
