WEEK-IN #5
This whole week had been a roller-coster for me, and here comes the learning from it.
Anger
It’s so simple to express compared to all other emotions, and so easy to grow too. But that eats you from inside sub-consciously. By the time you’ve realised it, you would’ve gone way deep into the tragedy.
Of course Anger too is an emotion like any other and suppressing it would not bring forth any good, cause suppressing your Anger is never a choice. That is gonna come out one way or the other and the more time you keep cooking it inside, larger the devastation the moment it comes out. We all have to Understand it rather than suppressing. Understating is the only way to find the solution to the problem through which the Anger has arrived, and that too isn’t easy at all cause Patience is key. I’ve learnt my patience through reading. Not through the contract in books, but through the action of reading itself. Find your path to patience as soon as possible so that you don’t fall into the misery of anger.
There are stages in Anger. Anger, Rage, Vengeance. You might not go to the last stage every single time you get Angry, is what you think. Wherever there’s Anger, eventually Vengeance is gonna add in, and you are not going to get any good from it. The argument I hear is that Vengeance leads to satisfaction once executed. That’s short term, and consequences are way massive. I could narrate several stories from my life alone about the never ending cycle of Anger, Vengeance and Consequences.
So, here comes the conclusion. Try to understand every angry moment and find a solution. Apply it the next time your rage kicks in. This had been tough for me. Even now, a lot of times I surrender to my Anger, but I try to stabilise it next time a similar situation arises. Try it. Even if you are able to control it once, the beauty of that control will make you understand my words.
Good one Rahul, keep writing!!!
