Waiting for a pat
When you are good at something, you get appreciated. Correct? NO. When you are good at something the people around you are experts of, only then you get appreciated. If not, mostly you'll get a smile and a clap, but not a career path. I'm not here to show you your career goal. Even I'm confused about mine. But, wanted to address a different problem. Expecting appreciation. The Problem You are very young, and you are top-notch in your whole school. You are gonna get appreciated by every single one. You think you are approachable by no one. But, the inevitable is gonna come. A point where you are gonna have a hell lot of competition and you are scared even to participate. That is the situation I wanna talk about. It is then the number of appreciations gets decreased drastically, and you are gonna stumble upon a state called "Depression". It's funny. Right? You win, you smile. You lose, others yell.
